Here’s a tribute to Violet Evergarden (2018), with a portrait of the title character based on the pose from Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring (1665).
Highly recommended this anime for it's moving story about self discovery on war, peace, empathy, and love. It's available to binge on Netflix.
