Day 07-28-18 - Marathon of Hope

A tribute to Canadian athlete Terry Fox (Jul 28, 1958 – Jun 28, 1981) for his 60th birthday with an illustration.
Dedicated the art to my grandfather who was a marathon runners in the later half of his life, and for my family who endure the threat of cancer.

Day 07-27-18 - Grandfather and His Granddaughter
A tribute to my grandfather (1924 - 2018), with a pen illustration of him with his granddaughter, my sister when she was 2 years old, based on an old family photo. (#15,309)

Day 07-25-18 - Golden Koi
This illustration is based on a spiritual scene I stared at for about 7 hours for a personal spiritual journey, which looks to me like a golden koi with blue fins basking under a trinity of lights, crossing an azure sea. Which interestingly, the imagery echoes some symmetry to the Count of Monte Cristo illustration I drew a day prior.
