Day #15,163 - Karen Carpenter
A close up portrait of Karen Carpenter (1950 - 1983) for her birthday. The composition is from the Carpenters' Ticket to Ride (1969) music video. Karen has one of the most beautiful and instantly recognizable voice ever, and I am sure the Carpenters songs will still be played until the end of humanity.

Day #15,162 - Chopin and Sand
An illustrated tribute to composer Frédéric Chopin (1810 - 1849) for his birthday, and a muse of his life George Sand (1804 - 1876). The composition is based on a fragmented oil painting of Eugène Delacroix (1798 - 1863) called Portrait of Frédéric Chopin and George Sand (1838), and two photos of them I've found during the research. I chose to make them looking at each others to share a moment of love.
